Questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. LectureHelper runs in Google Chrome on your computer. You only need a free account: sign in with Google.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your lectures are saved in your own account and in your browser, and other users can’t see them. We never store your audio, and we never use your lectures to train AI. You can delete a lecture or your whole account at any time. Read our Privacy Policy.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes, it works on your phone using the microphone. For the clearest text, use a computer: it takes the sound directly from Zoom or the video, without room noise.

Can I record any class?

Always follow your school’s rules about recording, and get permission before you record a class.
